OBX Fishing Report Day 5

    I fished the kids tournament in the morning, and caught a few sea mullet and lost a nice drum.Wyatt broke off on a drum because he tied a bad knot! Wyatt managed to land a 9.5" pigfish that took first in the tournament (multiple piers involved). The fishing stayed slow for most of the day, and the only fish being caught were sea mullet. Later in the afternoon, the water warmed up, and the Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel showed up. I landed 2 spanish, and Wyatt caught 3. The blues got schooled up just before dark and everybody landed 10 or 20. I fished at night and landed a 45" Dusky Shark, and my brothers both landed Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks.
